Some things you cake lovers need to know...

Cake Orders

All orders require a 50% non refundable deposit as well as a minimum of a two week advanced notice. Failure to give proper notice when inquiring will result in a rush fee. This will only be applicable if there is still availability for the prospective due date.

Pick Up

Pick up days and hours may vary according to the cake due date. 
Weekend pick ups will available between 10am-1pm and will be confirmed during confirmation of order. Please email cakes@thesweetrosebakery.com if you need to request a specific time.

Post Cake Pick Up

We advise clients to travel with their cakes on the front floor of the passenger side of the vehicle. Please be sure to keep the vehicle air conditioned upon pick up. 


We advise our customers to refrigerate their cakes immediately after pick up! All cakes should be left at room temperature for a minimum of 4 hours prior to serving after refrigeration.

How To Cut Your Cake

Once you're ready to cut your cakes, you will need the following: A sharp knife, a cutting board, and whatever you're serving your cake slices on.

Cut your cake in vertical rectangular shaped pieces rather than triangular. Place the cutting board side by side the cake and slice down. This should make it easier to transfer the larger cut piece to the cutting board to then place flat on a table surface to cut into smaller pieces.

How To Store Your Cake

We recommend after cutting your cakes to seal them in airtight containers or saran wrap. Cakes can be refrigerated and stored between 2-3 days.
